Our Spanish courses in Ayamonte are taught in collaboration with Academia Rocio Garcia. A study centre with a great reputation in the town and located just a few minutes walk from the centre of Ayamonte.<\/p>\n

Ayamonte dates back to the 15 century with a strong historical and cultural heritage. The population is around 20,000, and the town has managed to retain its delightful character from the narrow cobbled streets lined with cafes, restaurants and boutiques, to the beautiful plazas and a stunning marina from which you can overlook the estuary towards Portugal, a wonderful place to watch the sunset. The beautiful long unspoilt golden sandy beach of Isla Canela which stretches for miles along the Atlantic coast is only a short car or bike ride away.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Language Mood Ayamonte is about one hour\u2019s drive from the beautiful city of Seville and forty minutes from Huelva. If you feel like a change of country the 10 minute ferry trip will take you across the river to the charming Portuguese town of Vila Real.<\/p>\n

There are many activities in the local area, beaches, 3 golf courses, a sailing school, boat trips, bike hire, fishing, bird watching, walks, or you can just relax in the plazas drinking a coffee or a cold beer and sampling the local tapa delicacies, fresh fish prawns and jamon.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
